The story so far........

 

INDIKA were a UK based London band that were missed by the music industry.

​

Formed over twenty years ago their edgy indie funk rock style captivated peoples hearts and imaginations all over the globe. Their music was ahead of its time.

 

Their dream was to be smashing out hits on stage to huge audiences bringing their music to the world. Instead they performed in some of the worst pubs and venues around London. But the fans grew and soon they had a loyal following.

Then one day they were booked by a fan to perform at a wedding. This happened to be on the same day as a big competition, which they had already been nominated to enter. The band performed their audition in the morning and then went off to the wedding in the afternoon. 

 

During the wedding their manager received a call to say that Indika had won the competition and needed to return straight away to perform to 10,000 people and receive a prize from the judges. Somehow with the help of family they managed to get back there just in the nick of time where the band received a music award as well as important studio time.

This eventually led to a showcase at a well known London venue, where Indika were offered probably the worst music deal in history.

 

They didn't sign.

 

They never made it.
